P1010NSE5HFB is a 32-bit single-core e500 Power Architecture processor with integrated 10/100 Ethernet MAC and USB PHY. It is a powerful embedded processor that has been designed to fulfill the ever-demanding requirements of modern networking, industrial automation and communication applications. This processor has a Power Architecture core with a 32-bit byte/word addressing capability, allowing it to run multiple software instructions simultaneously with high performance, while at the same time providing low power consumption.

The P1010NSE5HFB comprises of a 32-bit processor core, a 10/100 Ethernet MAC, and a USB PHY. The Ethernet MAC supports both IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u standards for gigabit and full-duplex transmission. The USB PHY supports both USB 2.0 & USB 1.1 for low, full and high speed data transfer rates. The core processor of the P1010NSE5HFB supports Power Architecture instruction set, enabling support for a variety of application programs including UNIX, Linux, Windows and VxWorks.
The processor consists of a two-level cache, which can be configured as an instruction cache, a data cache or a split cache.
