It then controls the switching frequency of the output stage by adjusting the switching period. The efficiency of the PFC topology boosts as the switching frequency increases.

The P12N (or PFC) application fields include motor drives, electro-mechanical actuators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), storage batteries, etc. In summary, the PFC topology is one of the more efficient types of DC-DC converters, offering simplicity and flexibility. Its application field can be easily scaled up, and the performance can be adjusted by tweaking various parameters.
