The P4KE12CA-G is a high-power unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode, designed to protect components from electrostatic discharge (ESD), inductive switching, electrical transients, and lightning. This device offers superior protection in both low and high capacitance discharge environments.The P4KE12CA-G components feature dual differential avalanche breakdowns, low clamping voltage and metal oxide construction. The device is compliant to IEC61000-4-2, and meets MIL810G standards for many general environments. This diode works by absorbing the voltage and current spikes caused by ESD, inductive switching, and lightning transients. The built-in internal resistor and capacitance provides additional electrical enhancements that help protect the device.The P4KE12CA-G is available in a variety of packages, which include axial leads, SOT-23 and two small-outline transistors. Each package includes two terminals; the anode and cathode. The anode is the more positive terminal, and the cathode is the negative terminal.
