TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors) Diodes, also known as Transil Diodes, are protective devices that are designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from overvoltage transients, also known as electrical surges, typically caused by lightning, electrostatic discharge (ESD), wall spikes, switching transients and more. The P4KE400A-G is a particular kind of TVS Diode that are designed to protect sensitive circuits from high-voltage surges.
