TVS - Diodes
TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors) are semiconductor components used to protect sensitive circuitry in various electronic equipment from transient or high-energy electrical overstress (EOS). The P4KE600-G is a unidirectional device which belongs to TVS - Diodes family. The second application field is energy absorption in circuits such as Electronic load switches, consumer electronic products, automotive control, DC-DC converters and processor reset circuits. The P4KE600-G uses a diode structure to clamp voltage and current. It clamps the voltage and absorbs the energy generated by a transient. It features high pulse power capability, low clamping voltage, and fast response time to minimize the effect of transient surges. It contains two zener diodes inside the package, so it can handle reverse power transients with bi-directional capability.Advantages and Limitations of P4KE600-G
