A DC-DC converter is an electronic circuit which converts a source of direct current (DC) from one voltage level to another. It is a type of electric power converter. DC-DC converter is used for multiple levels of fixed output voltage or a continuously adjustable level of output voltage. By using it effectively, it can help devices run smoother and more efficiently.
The PAQ100S481R8/B is one type of DC-DC converter which is designed for applications that need highly reliable and energy-saving power supply. It is compact sized, with surface-mount form factor.
