Working Principle
The PBF550006 oscillator uses a quartz crystal resonator configured in a Pierce power oscillator circuit. The transistor, along with the passive circuit, creates a signal which is then amplified by the transistor via the feedback loop. This amplified signal is then outputted as the oscillator output.
The frequency of the oscillator is determined by the capacitance and conductance of the quartz crystal in the resonance circuit. By carefully controlling the values of these two parameters, the oscillator can be tuned to the desired frequency.
