PCA9544ADGVR is a 8-bit I2C multiplexer using low-voltage CMOS logic for a variety of port independent I2C applications, such as powering and communicating with a variety of I2C devices from the same I2C bus. It has a single simple control pin, capable of selecting up to four ports, providing a simple means of switching system and mixed sensor control. The device provides multiplexing with efficient power management that simplifies board design.

As one of Texas Instruments’ (TI) channel selection devices, the PCA9544ADGVR is designed to help save board space and reduce costs. This cost and space savings comes with the knowing that device performance is not compromised, because the device easily interfaces 5V and 3V I2C applications while providing high noise immunity and input port switching.
