The PCF8574ADGVRG4 is an Interface - I/O Expanders of the STMicroelectronics range. This component is an 8-bit I/O expander in 20 pin SOIC package, commonly found in many applications & platforms. It’s important to note that the I/O pins of the device are differentiated into two categories, 4 of them (P0-P3) are open-drain outputs and the other four (P4-P7) are inputs.
