Aluminum-polymer capacitors are non-polarized electrolytic capacitors which combine features of aluminum electrolytic capacitors and other polymer capacitors. Constructed of two or sometimes three layers, they are comprised of two aluminum foils coated with a variety of polymer dielectric material.
