PEC05SBDN is a rectangular connector-header with male pins that is an ideal and reliable interconnect solution for board-to-board applications. It is designed and manufactured specifically for outdoor LED lighting applications by Molex. It is also suitable for use in any applications that requires solid power and signal performance in harsh environments. The PEC05SBDN is a 5-position connector that is polarized to prevent mis-mating with other types of connectors. It has press-fit connector locking and complimentary gold-plated contacts that make it suitable for reliable power connections. It also features a panel-mountable design that enables various assembly options.
The construction of the PEC05SBDN has been designed to with-stand temperatures between -40C and +105C, making it an excellent choice for outdoor applications. Furthermore, it has an IP67 level of ingress protection that allows it to withstand dust, dirt, water and even water immersion. Its design also benefits from built-in dual wire seals, a highly efficient connector block and low profile connectors.The PEC05SBDN is designed to fit a 5.08mm grid, and is available in 1-5 positions with different configurations and cable lengths.
