The PFM2412B is a lightweight, power efficient Display Module with LED dot matrix and cluster displays. It is designed for applications requiring simple, low-cost and easy-to-use information displays. The PFM2412B can also be used for custom display applications including industrial, medical, gaming and test and instrumentation applications.

The PFM2412B is based on the approach of serial LED current programming and dual scan LED display, allowing for driving up to 288 LEDs. The main features of PFM2412B include 24*12 dots dot matrix, with a built-in 128-bit distributed memory to store images, furthermore built-in 24-type different font characters. This module also displays any pattern on the screen with fewer wiring, fast speed and low power consumption.

The PFM2412B works with either the 24V DC or 5V DC input voltage, with small, medium and large 4 characters shown and a refresh rate of 25 Hz. The phase-shift clock frequency can be configured from a range of 8.64 to 170 KHz. Using high frequency power supply, the modulation frequency can be configured from 1 to 24 MHz. In addition, the PFM2412B has an adjustable display time, scrolling speed and display brightness.

In order to provide flexibility for the applications of the PFM2412B, the input signals are compatible with the TTL levels at different frequencies. The LED driving current is adjustable and can be set up to 120mA. It has two programmable output level types, 1.2V and 0V.
