Working Principle
At the heart of PI5PD2061WE is an LVTT (Low Voltage Transistor Transistor) stage which can provide up to 8.7 Amps of dynamic current load switching. Using its three adjustable power supply pins (Gnd, VSS, and VDD), the LVTT can be set to provide the optimum power supply for each output. It also offers over-voltage protection and over-current protection, and the maximum peak current can be adjusted up to 8.7 Amps.
The second stage is a low power driver with a maximum output current of 10 Amps. It can be used either independently or as an additional protection against overloading circuits. It is designed with an adjustable current limit, which can be modified by changing the voltage or current on the VIN pin.
