PI5V330SQE is a special purpose analog switch that can bridge two circuits and provide quick isolation between them. It can be used to simulate real-time events when controlling physical systems, allowing signal switching between two systems or circuits. It is also used in signal routing and signal control applications, and can be used as a switch in signal processing as well. Its application fields include communication systems, test and measure instrumentation, digital signal processing (DSP) and circuit protection.

The PI5V330SQE contains two independent activation pins (EN1 and EN2), allowing the user to control when the switch is enabled.The device has two separate switches each with three pins (S1, D1, D2 and S2, D3, D4), allowing for 90° rotation between two channels.The switches are digitally operated by activate voltage VH, inactive voltage VL, and control voltage VCS.VH is the control voltage needed to activate the switch and VL is the control voltage to turn the switch off.The VCS is used to control the switching state of the device.VH and VL can be set to the desired voltage according to the application and operation.

The PI5V330SQE contains two single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches, allowing a wide range of switching and signal manipulation. Each SPDT switch has three terminals, two of which are connected to the device power source (VH, VL) and the third is connected to the two channels. Depending on the VCS and the input signals applied to the two terminals, the switch will open or close, allowing the two circuits to be switched between two states. When the switch is open, the two channels are isolated and no signal will pass between them. When the switch is closed, the two channels are interconnected and signals can pass between them.

The PI5V330SQE features an extremely small on-resistance and fast switching speed, making it ideal for applications where high performance and low power consumption are required. It also features a low power consumption, a high speed of 3 nanoseconds for turn-on, and a switching voltage range of 1.2V to 5.5V. The device also has a low charge injection of 1.5pC maximum, and a high isolation resistance of 40kOhms at 5V.
