The PI5V330SQE contains two single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches, allowing a wide range of switching and signal manipulation. Each SPDT switch has three terminals, two of which are connected to the device power source (VH, VL) and the third is connected to the two channels. Depending on the VCS and the input signals applied to the two terminals, the switch will open or close, allowing the two circuits to be switched between two states. When the switch is open, the two channels are isolated and no signal will pass between them. When the switch is closed, the two channels are interconnected and signals can pass between them.
