The PIM030 is an expansion board designed for evaluation and prototyping of 3-phase motor control applications. The expansion board is specifically designed for MotorMate Motor Control boards. It offers the ability to simulate and debug a variety of 3-phase motor control applications.The PIM030 expansion board simplifies the process of developing, testing and debugging 3-phase motor control applications. It provides quick access to all the necessary further components required for the in-depth analysis, simulation and debugging of 3-phase motor control applications.The board is based on the MotorMate Motor Control board and consists of the following components: 5-pin connector, two RC filters, current transformer, coupling/decoupling filter, voltage differential amplifier, opto-isolated analog input connectors, driver stage and control interface.The 5-pin connector enables users to connect the board to another MotorMate board or to the motor being controlled. The two RC filters are used to filter the inputs and outputs of the board. The current transformer allows the board to detect current flow in order to control the speed and direction of the motor being controlled. The coupling/decoupling filter filters the signals sent to and from the board.The voltage differential amplifier is used to compare the voltage signals from the motor being controlled. The opto-isolated analog input connectors enable the user to connect the board to external sources like switches, sensors, etc. The driver stage contains the motor driver, gate drivelselays, current sensor etc. The control interface contains the Voltage Output (Vout), the Hall Sensor, Encoder and PWM to Contactor outputs.The board also provides the ability to simulate 3-phase motor control applications in order to see the behavior of a system for debugging and troubleshooting purposes. The board comes with an on-board prototyping environment that enables users to design and simulate a 3-phase motor control application quickly.The PIM030 expansion board offers a wide range of features and tools which make it ideal for evaluation and prototyping of 3-phase motor control applications.
