Optical Sensors - Photointerrupters - Slot Type - Logic OutputPM-F65W is a slot-type photointerrupter, primarily employed in sensing applications. It features a junction-type MOS logic output circuits that provides TTL-compatible signals and reduce switching time to less than one microsecond. As an optical device, it is composed of an emitting element (infrared LED) and an opto-sensing element with normal/reverse logic outputs.The PM-F65W is ideal for usage on high-speed machinery and in office automation equipment. It is small in size yet highly reliable in the most demanding applications. It operates with a wide range of operating voltages ranging from +4.5 to +20 volts, with a working voltage of +5V DC.The PM-F65W output circuit is operated by two photodetectors and a circuit that prevents electrical overloads. To ensure that the output signal is generated when it reaches the directivity angle, the photodetectors are made from precision light-shielding components.
