Panel Indicators

Panel indicators are essential pieces of equipment for any automation or process that requires a visual indication device. While most industrial applications rely on switches and circuit breakers to detect malfunctions, panel indicators serve as an additional visual aid for monitoring the status of the system. These devices can range from an LED display or LED indicators to indicating lamps or pilot lights.

The PMR4AD is a one-piece, DIN-rail mounted indicator with a built-in alarm relay that can activate an external sound and visual alarm. The user defines which type of input is used for each indicator via a parameter setting. The alarm relay has no contact limitation and contacts will stay closed as long as the alarm condition is active.

When an input signal is received, the PMR4AD will activate the corresponding indicator. A small LED corresponding to each input signal will turn on. This is a universal panel indicator, and the indicator can be illuminated in red, green, yellow, or off as required. When an alarm limit is reached, the PMR4AD indicator will also switch the alarm relay to an alarm condition.

The PMR4AD is an adjustable range indicating lamp that can be used to detect and monitor a range of inputs. The adjustable range indicator allows users to pre-set the upper and lower value of the indication range and then configure the LED display to a corresponding color for less than, greater than, or within range. This can help reduce downtime by catching potential errors before they become significant.

The PMR4AD indicator lamp also features a built-in disconnection alarm for added safety. If a disconnection is detected in either of the two circuit pathways, the PMR4AD will automatically switch to an alarm condition, triggering an external sound and visual alarm. This helps troubleshoot the equipment more quickly and prevent costly downtime.
