PNA4701M is a remote receiver developed by Automotive Sensor and System Company, which is built-in the automobile and motorcycle. It can receive data from infrared remote transmitter, including sign wave, square wave, PWM signal and some kind of basic digital signal, and drive the related image display.PNA4701M can detect infrared signal from remote transmitter and decoded into digital signal. The product supports direct modulation Infrared Signal, and adopts the advanced modulation technique, which can ensure strong performance of anti-interference.The application field of PNA4701M is mainly about Automotive and Motorcycle. The main function of this remote receivers is to detect infrared signal from the remote transmitter, and convert it into digital signal as the switch signal of accessories control of engine, ignition and starter.In addition, PNA4701M can also be used in the security alarm system, home appliance control, and large-scale image display system. The working principle of PNA4701M consists of two parts: light receive and signal process. For light receive part, it is equipped with an infrared signal receiving window. When the infrared signal from the remote transmitter is detected by the infrared signal receiving window, the collect light is converted into electrons and then changed into small current. Then for the signal process part, PNA4701M will receive the analog signal, compare the input signal and the threshold voltage, and then convert the analog signal into digital signals. For PNA4701M, the threshold voltage can be adjusted by the manufacturer and the customer, which is a very convenient setting method. Besides, PNA4701M has a very fast response time: the maximal response speed can reach 400 ns, which make it can better eliminate interference.PNA4701M also supports TTL and CMOS signal output form, which make it easier for the signal to output to output interface or circuits.
