POC-128-BTTE, short for Proxy-Oriented Communication-128 Bits Block Transfer Encryption, is a new emerging network security technology developed for applications on modern networking environment. It is specifically designed for fast and secure data transmission with confidentiality, integrity and availability. The POC-128-BTTE application fields include military applications requiring high security grade, cloud services, mobile communication where low latency is desired, web-based services, authenticated encryption and flexibly added application-level encryption. It applies efficiently to the scenarios where strong encryption is required like communication between various military bases, banking system, public and government information networks, and biomedical telemington systems. The principle behind POC-128-BTTE is that the data are transferred in 128-bit blocks (16 bytes) which are encrypted by both Proxy-Oriented Secure Initialization (P-SIG) and Transport Layer Security (TLS). P-SIG is used to protect the integrity of the connection establishment and enhance basic authentication of proxy servers, while TLS is used to protect data confidentiality and integrity during communication and also provide security assurance for authentication. Under P-SIG mechanism, before the actual communication, each end in the communication session has to authenticate itself and the proxy server is responsible for approving the authentication information, which prevents un-authorized users to gain access to the communication session. The authenticating process is done securely and prevents any kind of man-in-the-middle attacks. The 128-bit block encryption technique protects the data from being eavesdropped, forged or tampered with. The encryption takes place when each block is transferred and each 128-bit block is encrypted and decrypted separately with different sets of keys. This prevents any kind of brut force attack on the data. When TLS is applied, a secure tunnel is formed over the TCP connection and data is transferred with secret key exchange which is known only to the two parties connected. This key exchange ensures that only the legitimate parties are aware of each other\'s key, thus preventing anyone else from decoding the transferred data. The 128-bit blocks are first encrypted and then passed to the TLS layer, further improving the security of the data. In the event of any kind of an attack, the application of POC-128-BTTE protocol prevents disclosure of any private information and makes sure that the two sides of the connection are correctly authenticated. This makes POC-128-BTTE an efficient and secure solution for data sharing.
