Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology is an emerging technology allowing devices to be powered over Ethernet data cables. POE14-120 is one of the standards used in the Power over Ethernet technology. The working principle of POE14-120 is based on the IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at. The 802.3af and 802.3at standards regulate the voltage and power and is the basis for POE14-120. In the 802.3at standard, a powered device is required to conform to the standard to ensure compatibility. The standard specifies a DC power output voltage of 48V. The power supply of POE14-120 is based on the 48V DC voltage but with adjustable range up to 120V DC.
