Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology is an emerging technology allowing devices to be powered over Ethernet data cables. POE14-120 is one of the standards used in the Power over Ethernet technology. In the 802.3at standard, a powered device is required to conform to the standard to ensure compatibility. The standard specifies a DC power output voltage of 48V.
