Limit Switches

The PP2-1U7-2B2 is a traditional industrial switch designed to open or close a circuit as the actuator moves toward or away from the switch. Working Principle

The design of the PP2-1U7-2B2 consists of an encapsulated base and an adjustable plunger. Rising voltage energizes the coil and causes an armature to move to the left. This action moves the contacts of the switch to the left, allowing contacts to close when the plunger is depressed. When the plunger is released, the voltage returns to normal, releasing the armature and moving the contacts to the right, allowing the contacts to open. This action is known as the snap action principle.
