Moreover, it is well-suited for use in the industrial, medical, consumer electronics and automotive industries.When it comes to the working principle of the PT5102N, it is a synchronous multi-module power stage which includes an n-channel MOSFET and ( sometimes ) a p-channel MOSFET. The drivers for the two MOSFETs are provided by an internal control controller which controls the pulse width modulation (PWM) signal that is used to control the MOSFET turn-on and turn-off. The MOSFETs then transfer energy into an output voltage capacitor. The output is regulated either by a voltage feedback or current sensing loop.Once the output voltage is set, the whole loop is closed by a low-drop voltage regulator or a current source circuit. The PWM controller will adjust the duty cycle of the MOSFET drivers in response to the voltage or current feedback signals to ensure stable and regulated output voltage or current. The n-channel MOSFET and the p-channel MOSFET, when used together, provide two power paths for the output voltage: one path having a higher voltage drop and one path having a lower voltage drop.
