The PT6407E DC DC converter supports constant voltage/current output, bulk capacitance of up to 150uF, and 1ms response time for output current change. It is suitable for high current devices that require fast response or require high frequency capacitor charging.

Working Principle of PT6407E

The PT6407E DC DC converter mainly consists of an inductor, a switch, an output stage and a control system. Under the control of the control system, the switch connected to the input voltage is turned on and off. When the switch is turned on, a current is induced in the inductor, causing the output voltage to rise. When the switch is turned on, the energy stored in the inductor is released, causing the output voltage to drop. The output stage is used to regulate the output voltage and ripple current.
