DC DC Converters

DC-DC converters are electronic circuits that convert a source of direct current (DC) from one voltage level to another. The process is known as DC-DC conversion. The circuits that accomplish this conversion typically contain inductors, capacitors, resistors, transistors, MOSFETs and other active devices. They can be used in many applications that require transferring power from a low voltage source to a higher voltage use, or vice-versa.

The PT6602P is a monolithic switching regulator IC designed for DC-DC conversion. It is a low power, highly integrated device with many features that make it suitable for a wide range of applications. It is a highly efficient, current-mode PWM control Regulator IC with fixed frequency, that offers excellent line and load regulation characteristics over a wide input voltage range and with minimal external components. Working Principle
