DC-to-DC converters are electronic circuits used to efficiently convert a voltage level from one DC value to another. It is capable of handling high power loads and providing a wide range of input and output voltages. It also features a high efficiency ratings that allow for a lower overall power consumption. The PT6674M operates using a switch MOSFET and continuously cycled between the main output and an auxiliary output. When the main output is connected to the load, the current passing through the transformer raises the primary winding\'s magnetic flux, and the secondary winding\'s voltage starts to rise. This voltage is then converted into a current that is directed to the auxiliary winding to help maintain the voltage across the main output.The PT6674M\'s synchronized operation also allows for the output to be synchronized according to the varying input frequency of the power supply. This allows for more accurate output voltage regulation, which eliminates the need for a separate controller.The PT6674M also features a wide input range of 4.5V to 5.5V and a wide output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.75V.
