Working principle

It contains four selectable reset outputs, including: Hardware Reset (HWR), Watchdog Timer Reset (WTR), Detection Reset (DR) and Power-on Reset (POR). HWR, WTR and DR reset outputs have a fixed reset threshold level, while POR has adjustable reset threshold levels.

The working principle of this IC is very simple. When the power supply voltages exceed their predetermined threshold levels, the IC triggers its reset output. Depending on the threshold voltage that has been exceeded, the output can be HWR, WTR, DR or POR.
