The working principle of PV-5A10F-CT is mainly based on the use of Bourdon tube, which is installed in a C-shaped housing with a diaphragm. The Bourdon tube is filled with special liquid like glycerol, which makes sure that the elastic deformation of the tube will not be affected by the change of temperature. Under the influence of the local pressure, the diaphragm will move and the tube will get elongated or narrowed, depending on the direction of pressure.

The vacuum pressure and the dynamic pressure acting on Bourdon tube are all proportional to the elastic deformation of the tube. The dynamic pressure will be transmitted to the pointer in the springed-loaded lever system, and the corresponding readings of both pressures can be read from the scale plate. The measurement of pressure range is 0～4 kg/cm2 and the maximum allowable pressure is 6 kg/cm2. In addition, the limitation of pressure is indicated by a safety valve.

PV-5A10F-CT is mainly composed of Bourdon tube and other components, such as pointer system, external appearance, diaphragm, and C-shaped housing. It is equipped with a bourdon tube, whose elastic deformation is sensitive and accurate with an adjustable range of 0～4 kg/cm2, and a limitation of 6 kg/cm2. In addition, the instrument applying two kinds of dynamic pressures, air pressure and vacuum pressure, is designed to reach the best accuracy.

The pointer system consists of a go-back spring, a pointer and a pointer arm. The go-back spring fixed at one end of the pointer arm acts on the pointer. When the Bourdon tube deforms, the pointer arm will rotate and make the pointer move around the scale plate. The appropriate display scale is marked both on the case and the pointer. The accuracy of the pointer system is 0.5～1.5kg/cm2.

The external appearance of PV-5A10F-CT is stainless steel with good corrosion resistance. In order to ensure the stability of pressure measurement, the diaphragm is equipped with a compensation chamber so that the well-filled fluid can always keep an effective correction of the measured pressure. The whole instrument is designed in an adjustable way.
