Terminals - Ring Connectors are electrical connectors that are designed for quick connection and disconnection of wires in high amperage electrical circuits. The PV22-2R-CY is a double-ended, medium-duty, fast-acting terminal for use with stranded 12 – 22 AWG wire.

The PV22-2R-CY consists of a barrel body made from high-temperature nylon that has two through-holes and one wire connection. Typically, the wire connection hole is sized to accept two terminals and the through-holes are designed to accommodate the teeth of a pair of 3/8” (10mm) ring terminals. The terminal halves are held together by a self-captivated #6-32 cheesehead screw that allows the terminal halves to rotate freely.

Once closed, the PV22-2R-CY makes a reliable connection for AC, DC, or low voltage applications. It is designed to withstand up to 15A of current and temperatures up to 221°F (105°C). The terminal is rated as UL 94V-2. The terminal is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
