Film capacitors, also known as plastic film capacitors, are electrical components which Is constructed by winding a wide dielectric film, such as polyester, polypropylene or polycarbonate between two conductive plates (electrodes). Film capacitors provide excellent stability and characteristics over wide temperature range and are designed for use in wide range of many electrical applications. Among them, PVC6127 is one of the most popular film capacitors in the market.

PVC6127 film capacitor is a non-inductively wound style capacitor which offers superior performance and life expectancy. It has a specified temperature range of ‐55° C to +105° C and is suitable for both AC and DC applications. It is a small size, non-solid electrolyte capacitor with a low ESL which makes it ideal for a variety of applications such as coupling, decoupling, smoothing, and bypass capacitor.
