QVB11124 is a slot-type photointerrupter whose output are transistor output type. It has a high forward current handling capability and low DC output current saturation. The photointerrupter is an optical sensor which is composed of an infrared LED and an NPN output phototransistor. It works by emitting an infrared light from the LED. When the LED is blocked by an external source, the output signal level would change to reflect this state.

Working Principle of QVB11124
