The R0003NLT is a three-phase common mode choke that is designed to reduce electromagnetic interference and decrease noise in three-phase AC mains. Common mode chokes utilise this principle by using inductance to reduce current from passing through the device. The inductance is generated from a collection of conductive wires that are wound into a coil, which is then wrapped in an insulating magnet. When AC power is applied to the primary windings the alternating current generates an alternating magnetic field, which induces an equal but opposite voltage in the secondary windings. This is referred to as voltage compensation, and it reduces the amount of electromagnetic interference and hypersensitivity of the device.

The R0003NLT utilises a multi-gap Resonant Ring Core to increase its current leakage and attenuation in high frequency ranges. The device also has a wide range operating temperature which extends from -25 to +80 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the building material of the R0003NLT is thermoplastic and polyester, ensuring maximum endurance and product safety.
