The application field of the R1D12-1212/P-R can be divided into three segments, namely consumer electronics, industrial, and automotive.The working principle of R1D12-1212/P-R involves two steps. First, the low voltage DC input source is converted into a higher voltage switching output. This is accomplished by using a power one-phase circuit which contains FETs and capacitors to provide the necessary switching. The output is then rectified and filtered and sent to a voltage regulator.The second step involves the voltage regulator controlling the output voltage. The voltage regulator is designed to control the output by comparing the actual output voltage to a desired voltage. The difference between the two signals is sent to the controller, which adjusts the switching frequency of the power one-phase circuit. The cycle is then repeated continuously to keep the output voltage at the desired level.The R1D12-1212/P-R also offers several protection features.
