This device is a step-down voltage regulator that reduces input voltage levels to a preset lower output voltage. It is also designed for us in a wide range of applications, including automotive, battery management, communications, industrial, medical, and consumer. The R1S8-2415-R features a maximum output current of 15A, with an output voltage of 1.5V to 24V, and a switching frequency of up to 500kHz. The device also features an integrated control logic and an integrated PWM controller.The working principle of the R1S8-2415-R is based on the operating principle of a buck DC–DC converter. It converts the input voltage into a regulated output voltage via pulse width modulation (PWM) control. The device consists of two basic components: an energy storage element and a controller.
