Film capacitors are used in a wide range of applications in fields such as power conversion, signal processing, audio, automotive, medical, industrial, and many more. The R73TI1100SE00K is a film capacitor from Vishay, a global leader in offering passive and active components solutions. This capacitor is designed for use in DC-link circuits in industrial drives and frequency converters, as well as solar converters, and other frequency control applications. The working principle of the R73TI1100SE00K is based on electrostatic fields. The capacitor comprises two oppositely charged electrodes - one positive and one negative. In between these electrodes, the capacitor stores the maximum amount of electric charge possible, with the amount of charge stored determined by the thickness of the dielectric material placed between the two electrodes. The dielectric material used with the R73TI1100SE00K is a polypropylene film with a low-loss, ac and dc-link control layer. By alternating the voltage across the capacitor\'s two electrodes, the stored charge is also alternated in a cyclic pattern, thus producing an AC current.The R73TI1100SE00K has a rated capacitance of 1100 uF, a rated voltage of 350V AC, and a rated temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The capacitor also features a 7mm pin type, an R82 Tolerance of ±10%, a safety standard of IEC 60384-14, and CQC and UL Certification.
