LED Indication - Discrete

LEDs, or light emitting diodes, are widely used in applications for the purpose of providing a visual indication for the user. LEDs are commonly used in conjunction with discrete components to indicate the status of a system, a process or event. A particularly popular form of LED indication is the R7BC-R/Y (Red/Yellow) application field. This article will explore the R7BC-R/Y LEDs and their working principle.R7BC-R/Y LEDs are specially designed LEDs for applications where the user requires a visual indication of two separate states of a process or system. This can be achieved by applying varying amounts of current to the LEDs. This is achieved by using diffused LEDs which spread the light emitted from the LED in all directions.
