Working Principle

RACD25- 700A LED driver has two main parts. The first one is the power converter and the second is a control/load interface. The power converter directly converts the AC power into DC power for the LEDs. It consists of three parts, an AC-DC power supply circuit, a PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuit and a DC/DC converter circuit. The power converter also regulates the power supply to the LED load. The second part is a control/load interface, designed to control the power output to meet the operational characteristics of the LED load. The interface includes an output voltage control loop, an LED safety testing module and an output current controller.

To realize the cycle regulation of the output current, RACD25- 700A LED driver considers the voltage feedback from the output as the feedback of the output power. When the load increases, the output voltage will decrease, resulting in a decrease in output current. Meanwhile, when the load decreases, the output voltage will increase, thus the output current increases. In addition, when the voltage feedback exceeds the preset reference voltage, it will trigger the protection loop and reduce the output power.

RACD25-700A LED driver is also equipped with a built-in PFC (power factor correction) circuit. The PFC circuit ensures that the current waveform complements the voltage waveform of the input, leading to a higher power factor and less power sinusoidal wave distortion. Besides, it can effectively reduce harmonic current interference and increase the power supply system safety.
