DC- DC converters are devices that convert direct current (DC) from one voltage level to other level for various applications. REC20-4815D is a high power DC-DC converter which has low power consumption, high conversion efficiency and high stability. This device is mainly used in industrial applications, wherein it can be used to power various industrial equipment.The REC20-4815D is a DC-DC buck converter and works on the principle of voltage regulation. It has an input voltage range of 9V to 32V and an output voltage range of 0.6V to 18V. The device has an operating current up to 15A and a power capability up to 240W. It can also operate in a normal or Forced PWM mode. In normal mode, the operating frequency is determined by the current output. In the Forced PWM mode, the operating frequency can be fixed externally.The device is equipped with a Control Loop which provides precision voltage regulation and high accuracy. It ensures high power conversion efficiency even under variable environmental conditions. To ensure proper operation, the device features several protection circuits including Over Voltage Protection, Over Temperature Protection, and Short Circuit Protection.For operation, the device requires a single inductor and two capacitors - one for the input stage and another for the output stage. The power transistor of the device is integrated into the circuit providing high operation efficiency. It also features an On/Off Control pin which enables the device to turn on and off when needed. In addition, the device features Output Soft-Start and variable switching frequency. This enables the device to start smoothly in different conditions.The REC20-4815D is a high power DC-DC converter which offers a wide range of features and benefits. It is very easy to use and provides high conversion efficiency, low power consumption and high stability. It is suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
