REM10-2405D/A/CTRL

DC DC converters are an important type of power conversion technology used for power conversion, regulation, and control. The REM10-2405D/A/CTRL employs a “buck-boost” topology, in which a diodes-and-capacitor half-bridge network is used to convert AC mains power into a low-voltage DC. The DC is then reconverted to a regulated output using a synchronous buck (step-down) converter. This topology is well-suited for applications in which wide input-to-output voltage range is necessary.

The REM10-2405D/A/CTRL features a unique control technique called “Hybrid Digital Pulse-Width-Modulation” (HD-PWM), which is used to reduce switching losses and minimize heat dissipation. This technique uses a combination of fixed-frequency PWM modulation and variable frequency pulse-code modulation (PCM) to reduce switching losses and improve efficiency.

The REM10-2405D/A/CTRL includes various protective features, such as input under-voltage lockout, over-voltage protection, current limit protection and thermal shutdown, to ensure reliable and stable operation. It also includes an active back-EMF filtering feature to reduce EMI.

The REM10-2405D/A/CTRL can be easily configured for a wide range of output voltages, ranging from 3.3 V to 24 V, and current ratings from 0.5 A to 5 A. It is available in a 12-pin DIP package and is RoHS compliant.
