The REM3-4815S/C is a DC-DC converter application, which utilizes a switching power supply structure, by converting a high input voltage DC into a stable, low output voltage, either regulated DC or AC voltage. This product is designed as a controller or motor driver with an operating frequency of 4.6KHz. It features a wide range of operating voltage range, low noise and output short circuit protection.

It firstly converts the input voltage to current and then converts the current to the output voltage by pulse width modulation (PWM). This protection system consists of a power transistor, thermal protector, fuse and over-voltage protection circuit. If the output current of the REM3-4815S/C exceeds the rated current, a current protective device is activated and the power transistor is turned off. If the temperature of the DC/DC converter rises above a predetermined level, the thermal protection circuit of the REM3-4815S/C limits the output power and prevents excessive heat generation.
