Features

It also has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and has overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection.

It also features a high efficiency, up to 88%, with a minimum start-up voltage of 2.0 VDC. The high precision output voltage regulation provides tighter voltage accuracy, and the PWM dimming control makes it suitable for applications that require adjustable output voltage.

Working Principle

The REM6-1205D/A/CTRL works by converting the input voltage into a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal, which is then delivered to a step-up transformer. This pulses the input voltage at a high frequency and, through transformer action, produces an output voltage that is higher than input voltage. The output voltage is then rectified through a diode bridge and filtered by a capacitive filter for stability. The output is then regulated to the desired voltage.
