The RF062PJ514CS programmable resistor network/array has two types of motorized adjustment, “5P In-line” and “3P chip on board”, which enable accurate and quick adjustment of resistance values. The resistor array also features a 4.5V to 25V wide input voltage range, and a low noise figure of 0.01dB. It ensures high impedance level and low temperature coefficient, high shock and vibration resistance along with extremely low temperature dependence to ensure high reliability in operation and competitive cost for diverse applications.

Working Principle

The RF062PJ514CS features a unique wiperless technology that enables adjustment of resistance values without any physical contact. This wiperless technology is based on the Variable Resistor Matrix (VRM) principle, which involves a matrix of carbon resistors arranged in a matrix structure. Each point of the matrix consists of one fixed resistor and two switchable resistors which are controlled by a digital signal.

The signal is generated by a master controller, which is connected to the matrix structure. This signal is fed to the points and the current is then adjusted accordingly.
