PTC Resettable Fuses: RGE 500 Application Field and Working Principle

A PTC (positive temperature coefficient) resettable fuse, also known as PPTC (polymeric positive temperature coefficient), is a solid-state device designed to protect electrical or electronic systems when currents and/or temperatures exceed a certain threshold.
