Inductors are classified as electrical components which convert electrical energy into magnetic energy. Fixed inductors, like the RL875-181K-RC, are a type of inductor which store energy in a magnetic field, which can be used to reduce ripple in a circuit, or for providing a particular level of inductance (or opposition to a current).
