Common mode chokes are among the most effective means of providing high-frequency noise suppression or filtering. It is a device that is designed to reject common-mode interference, that is, signals that cause interference on a differential signal line as opposed to a single conductor. The RN222-1-02-33 is a type of common-mode choke, most commonly used in motor applications, with a particular emphasis on medical and automotive applications.

The RN222-1-02-33 is designed for applications where the suppression or noise reduction is necessary to maintain an accurate and reliable signal. It is designed to be inserted into the circuit to minimize the transmission of common-mode noise and eliminate the effects of common-mode interference.
