The uniformity and adhesion of these materials to the substrate are achieved by firing in vacuum.

The connections of the resistor are made using gold metallic films and silver palladium contact fingers. The firing process makes it possible to obtain a narrow TCR (±15ppm/°C) and resistance tolerance of ±0.1% over the overall operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.

The performance of the RN55E4270BRE6 is further enhanced with its low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) and 0.25W power rating but with a small footprint. This is further complemented by its capability to handle high pulse voltages, high operating currents, and being compatible with reflow soldering or auto placement.
