Through Hole Resistors

Often abbreviated as TH, through-hole resistors are resistors with two leads inserted through a cylindrical hole in a board or component called a through-hole. Widely used over the decades, through-hole resistors were a common part used in constructing circuit boards until they began to be replaced in the 21st century by surface-mount components.

Working Principle
