The ROV14H181K-2, from Littelfuse, is a Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) device specifically designed for use in harsh environments. This device provides over-voltage and surge protection for high-voltage systems, as well as ensuring the integrity of sensitive circuitry. The ROV14H181K-2 is designed to protect equipment from over-voltage, reverse polarity, and transient current events. The device is designed to self-regulate in the event of an over-voltage event, by allowing a very low resistance current path when a predetermined voltage threshold is exceeded.
