ROV14H301K-S-2 Application Field and Working Principle
The ROV14H301K-S-2 is primarily used to provide effective voltage protection for devices and systems under defined conditions of normal AC power line (50 Hz or 60 Hz) or DC input equal to or lower than the rated voltage of the device or system. The ROV14H301K-S-2 contains semiconductor elements and ceramic elements with a specific dielectric coefficient. The design of the device and its associated circuitry provides efficient EMI, ESD, lighting, and power surge protection, and helps to reduce the short-term and long-term damage caused by voltage transients.The working principle of the ROV14H301K-S-2 is based on the fact that voltages in excess of its rated voltage will cause the device to ‘clamp’ or reduce the level of the applied voltage transient, such that voltages in excess of the rated voltage are limited to a safe level.
