It is a non-linear component that has the effect of clamping the voltage when the instantaneous pulse voltage exceeds the rated voltage. In other words, the ROV14H361K can be used to clamp the incidence voltage. The rated clamping voltage is approximately 26 times the rated voltage.ROV14H361K has a fast response time, which is about 1 nS, and the peakcapability prevents the voltage from overshooting and damaging the system.
