Working Principle

The working principle of the RP90Q-2405SRW/N is based on the resonant driver and switching converter principle. The power transistors are controlled with the following signals at the resonant driver: a start-up voltage bias, a clock signal and a signal that adjusts the on-time of the power transistors. The on-time adjustment signal determines the amount of power transferred to the load, and therefore controls the power factor correction of the module.
